From team logos to pictures of nature to cute animals to masterwork paintings, it’s possible to find all of it online.

The first step is to do a search. Simply go to any search engine and begin a query. Like with any search, keywords are important and key to finding what you want. Since you’re looking for computer wallpaper, make sure to include a variation of the term in the search. For instance: “free computer wallpaper,” “free desktop” or “free desktop wallpaper.” Even “computer wallpaper” will pull the desired results, as most websites offer wallpapers for free. The “free” part is almost implicit.

However, while the “free” part isn’t necessary, specifying the subject is. With millions of wallpapers available online, it’s important to narrow down the choices. If looking for sports-themed wallpaper, include that modifying word in the query. That being said, many sites offer a variety of wallpapers to choose from anyway.
